Computing Services
The Electrical and Computering Engineering Department at the University of Florida provides computing support to Students, Staff and Faculty members within and associated with our Department.
Areas of Support
The Department IT group provides networking that connects offices, labs and classrooms with local subnets (building) and uplinks to main campus networks. Shared resources such as E-Mail, Web, Name Service, Network File Storage, and Application Servers/Grids are also provided and maintained.
Research Groups
Various research groups exist within the Department of ECE and each contain their own computing needs specific to their research. Most groups fund a part time Staff or Student to assist with daily system adminstration of their local computing resources.
